i'm 8 minutes into this episode but i'm pretty sure i've got it already. Kanzaki is the attacker. he faked the threatening phone call against himself. then while 'resting' from his upset guts he puts on the yellow jacket, red pants, ski-mask, grabs his big knife and attacks the dude in the mascot costume. for some reason Kanzaki's got a beef with Shimomura the dude in the glasses who gets 'stuck' heh heh ;> wearing the costume. then Kanzaki runs back to the bathroom he was 'having the runs in' heh heh heh! ;> and hides the clothes and changes. employees know where the security cameras are. you're working in a supermarket around FOOD! YOU DON'T COME INTO WORK WITH GROWLY GUTS! YOU COULD SPREAD A DEADLY DISEASE! Kanzaki faked the upset guts with some medicine or some food he's allergic to. maybe he's lactose intolerant and he ate a bunch of cheese or drank many glasses of milk. or he's got irritable bowel syndrome and something else triggers his attacks, spicy foods or maybe he purposefully didn't take his medication. or something.
